Endre Farkas (Hajdunanas, 1948- )
Endre Farkas was born in Hungary. He fled with his parents during the 1956 uprising and settled in Canada. He holds an M.A. from Concordia University, and has been teaching at John Abbott College since 1974.

Elias Letelier (Santiago, 1957- )
During the dictatorship, Elias Letelier worked to establish the External Resistance Fronts in Southern Santiago (ADA) in preparation for the Chilean popular uprising. During that time, he directed over 80 literary workshops with Chilean workers.
